Sandra Steele was born on the 12th May 1957 and passed away suddenly on the 3rd February 1993 at
just 35 years old.
Sandra was the youngest of 5 children to Bill & Cathie Chalmers. Her siblings are Irene, Linda,
Morag & David. Sandra adored her family very much and would have been devastated at the loss of her
Nephews Douglas & Scott who passed away shortly after her death in a tragic car accident and also of
her Mother Cathie who died in 2005.
Sandra grew up in Hamilton, Scotland where she met her husband Bobby at High School, and later had 2
children of their own, Debbie & David. In 1985 Bobby & Sandra decided to move to Kent to try for a
better life as times were hard in Scotland. Sandra has 5 Grand Children which unfortunately she
never had the opportunity to meet. Their names are Alecia, Callum, Olivia, Warwick and Mitchell.
Debbie & David talk to their children often and show them photographs of her.
Sandra worked with mentally & physically challenged adults. She enjoyed every minute of her job and
was very successful in what she did. Before she died she was offered a Managers position in a
complex of her own. Her students (as she would call them) also thought the world of her.
Sandra was a fun loving, happy go lucky person, who enjoyed life to the full. She was humorous,
lively, vibrant and had a great personality.
Sadly, Sandra suffered chronic migraines which lead to her premature death. She collapsed during a
migraine attack at home which caused her a fatal brain haemorrhage. She was found by her daughter
Debbie.
She was much loved and respected not only by her family but also by anyone who met her. She touched
the lives of everyone around her, she is deeply missed by everyone.

15 years!!! I can't believe it's been that long, it still only feels like last year.
I hope they're throwing a huge big Angel party up there for you. You deserve it, they took a beautful person from me, so he owes you big style. (Mine's a voddy, lime & lemonade) hehe Oh and make sure you wish to spend a day with me.
I love and miss you so much mum. Not many people remember this day, but this day will be with me right up until the big man decides to take me.

Im struggling to cope big time - everyone says time is a healer but im not convinced... :-( Feels like i've lost a limb and just found out on thurs that uncle Jimmy has been found dead. Its never ending..

Just stopped by to say hi and to say that I think Debs is feeling a bit down at the moment, and I would love to make her feel better. So if you could let her know you're around in anyway please do hun. I know she really misses you at times like this and just to feel your presence would make her feel better.
Thinking of you always. Wishing you could still be here for Debs, but I am doing my best as her friend, to be there for her as you would have been.

Rest in Peace Sandra, my heart goes out to your family, a very good family friend JULIE WHARTON recently passed away due to the same cause as your mam. Why are people taken from us so young? seems so unfair. maybe they are needed in heaven with the angels their work is done here and heaven needs the best. God bless you Sandra. and God bless your family.
(My maiden name was Steele, i don't know if there is a link. my mother and father is grace and Terry, my grandmother and grandfather who have passed was joan and leonard steele. Joan was originally from northampton. Theres not many Steeles in this world.)
